Bright Charity Photography Competition - I'm a Finalist!
04th August 2015
Photographers whose images are to be displayed in Northumberland’s new hospital dedicated to emergency care in Cramlington have spoken of their delight at being winners of the competition.
The winners of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s photography competition for the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital were celebrated at an event held on 29th July 2015.
The images are to be exhibited in key locations of the new Northumbria hospital, which treats people who are seriously ill or injured across Northumberland and North Tyneside, to help patients and visitors to find their way to wards and departments.
Winners were presented with their prizes by award winning photographer Ikuko Tsuchiya who first came to England in 1996.
My winning image is entitled "Down to the sea" and can be viewed in my Northumberland Seascapes Gallery.
I'm really pleased to have been a finalist and would urge everyone who visits my site to follow the link to the Bright Charity website to read about the great work they do.
