About

Neil Brinsdon Photography
Thank you for visiting my website.
My interest in photography started at the age of 21 when my parents bought me my very first camera, a Canon AE1, a historically significant camera because it was the first micro processor equipped SLR.
Over the next 30 years or so my photography took a route for me that many people will recognise, family holidays, family gatherings and the occasional interlude into landscapes either on holiday or near the places we lived in the UK.
Twelve years ago I met Neil Atkinson and he has been a terrific tutor for me, both compassionate and understanding of where I was and where I wanted to go with my photography and he really bought in personally to my passion to improve my skills and technical knowledge. His support has helped me to further develop my photography skills and create this website.
Since 2021 I have concentrated on photographing people and this has resulted in the publication of three books;
“Beyond The Mask, through The Lens” - 100 Pandemic Portraits
“Cultivating Hope” - A collection of poems and photographs to soothe the mind and lift the soul - a collaboration with Jo Caley - #PollysPoems
“What Football Means To Me” - a collection of portraits across the UK from those who play, officiate, administrate and watch football.
All books are available at the Kindle Store at Amazon UK.
I regularly use Social Media to support this Website so please take a moment to follow my accounts to see more images and information.
